George is a data and technology enthusiast and enjoys solving complex business challenges. With over 21 years of work experience, he has been an HR leader with a data-driven approach to delivering tangible business impact in several industry domains across Asia and the Middle East, including ITES, BFSI and Engineering.
He is currently pursuing the Sloan Fellowship at London Business School, with a specific focus on the Economics of Crisis, Managing Corporate Turnarounds, M&A and Digital Strategy including Data Mining & Artificial Intelligence.
He was previously the Head of HR for Asia at FLSmidth, and as member of the Global HR Leadership Team he was responsible for a consistent and high level of HR services to the organisation, executing the Global HR Strategy and aligning it to business initiatives in the region, and ensuring a strong focus on inclusion and diversity.
His other roles included business and corporate HR responsibilities with HSBC, Emirates NBD, JPMorgan and Genpact. He has also served as an officer in the Indian Navy.
An alumnus of the Indian Naval Academy, he is an SHRM-SCP and Hogan certified professional; with expertise in using data analytics for creating actionable business insights. He is an active speaker at various professional forums and likes to collaborate with industry colleagues on matters related to human capital and technology.
